When I set the first room up as I want it, save it and then update the remote all is fine.
However, when I use another part of the config app (iPad) and then go back into the Rooms set up the devices and macros I have set up in the first room have been reset and are no longer what I saved.
Not a major issue as long as I don’t update the remote but don’t really want to have to set up the first room every time I use the config app to make a change elsewhere.
Ok so you are saying the order of room is not staying same across apps.
On the iPhone and Mac I have no issue. Just when the save buttons appears it will record that state on the server and when you sync Haptique, it will fetch the order from the server. The process here is simple manual save is required every time you make the change to the order.
The same is happening on all apps, even if I just use one exclusively.
I don’t think this happened when I had just one room, and even now the second and third rooms stay the same, it is just room 1 that loses the settings. (Although room 3 does seem to randomly lose the custom icon settings)
I am manually saving after each change and then updating the remote, but later on when I go back in to the room the order and even the macros/devices displayed is changed back to what seems a ‘default’ order - i.e. it changes back to the same items each time.
As I say, not a big issue as I think I am now set up to my liking so no need to update the remote, but of course that will change as future updates come out.
I have exactly the same problem. I have only had the Haptique for a few days and thought that I may be doing something wrong, but apparently not. I have only used the App on an iPhone, not on any other device. I can get everything how I want it, but the next time I make any change the button boxes on the room page have all reverted back to some other order, as described by sjhanson, even losing my macro additions.
I ‘solved’ my issue by deleting the room and then creating a new one and setting it up again. Not an ideal solution but it appears the original room was somehow corrupted.
