About the Home Assistant category

Did a factory reset, also removed and reinstalled the app, but it’s still retaining state somewhere because it still knows my HA url. Is there a way to clear all that data?

I am not trying to access HA remotely and it doesn’t look like the app accepts an HTTPS url regardless.

Are you running any Add ons? If yes try to disable all of them and test the connection once again. It has worked for another user. He should post his finding here.

So I had the same issue, looks like was connected but not showing any devices, I tried disable addons one by one and I found out one addon for Car, “Cupra” when I disabled everything start working and I see all devices.

Possible issue with entity names as they are very long with VIN number on front etc.

Try disabling addons one by one until will start working

Can you tell me which webapis are being called in what order? Presumably one of them is returning something that you’re failing to deserialize, maybe I can track down which one.

I’ll try disabling some integrations to see if I can narrow down what might be causing the failure.

Through process of elimination, it looks like the issue has something to do with the Blink camera integration in Home Assistant. I’m trying to see if there’s something unusual about those devices or entities.

In the Haptique Config app, I added all my Home Assistant devices even before I had the physical remote. Now I have the remote, but the Home Assistant connection seems confused.

When I want to add a new HA device, and press on “+”, there is a short note “New Device detected in Home Assistant.”, but after tapping “Select Devices” the list is completely empty. And I have dozens of devices and new sensors, etc.

I tried re-entering the HA-URL, creating a new token, resetting the remote, re-installing the app, nothing helped. The list of HA devices is always empty.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Try disabling all the Add ons once on the HA.

OK, now it works for me. The guilty integration was “Dreame Vacuum” in a beta version.

So it is not necessary and “Add on” (which is something different in Home Assistant), it can also be an integration.

I guess you can restart the Add on once you are done setting up RS90 with HA. We will definitely look at this issue in coming week.

Any plans to support HTTPS? I use the Duck DNS add-on (it’s required in my use case) which only works with HTTPS so right now I cannot even use this integration.

Done.

The app auto populates http://. What do we do if our ha is connecting via https://?

Then you are SOL like me.

This change is coming in the next update.

We are also going to add support for remote entity.

Thanks.

Does that mean we will be able to send remote commands (like IR) from Home Assistant to the RS90?

Remote entity is something we can get and handle, I am not sure how the Ir data can flow in? But interesting as if you have reader you can capture the IR file.

We are working on something like this have a look:

Ty. Very important for my set up to have this.
Any update on this?

It is live now but we are working on some rules to limit users pushing any random unverified IR data on the db. By this week it should be public.

I connected my RS90 to home assistant. The entities show up in the Haptique Config. I create a room and add the entity (in this case a Zigbee Plug). I sync the RS90 and everything shows up on the display as expected. I can’t fugure out, how to operate the plug. If I press on the tile on the display it inverts the color and nothing happens. I can switch the plug from home assistant, so that is not the problem. What am I missing here?
