Changing WiFi ssid fails

I have managed to move my RS90 onto a new IOT subnet, but when I reset the IR Extender (using the 7 press method) and then successffully get it connected to the new network I end up in a situation where it shows in the cantata config app, but every time I click the ‘RECONFIGURED DEVICE’ I see a small popup over it saying ‘pin_not_configured’. The extender is then not added to my Haptique.

What does this mean? How do I fix it?

After a failing hub i had the same issue. I then performed a factory reset, flashed the hub (firmware installation), and added as a new hub. Finding the network took a while. Eventually, it worked, but apparently, there was no connection with the remote. I suspect the latest updates might be related, but I’m not sure. I reported it to the Service Desk. They’re going to check the hub firmware to determine the cause.

The already configured will discover the IR hub but not allow you to access it. Reconfigured Device only works if you are on the same network with a different IP address from the same Haptique account. Because there is an authentication required for unauthorised config app to access the IR Hub. It is a security feature for not allowing any account with same config app but with other login to access your device.

If you have to change the network/SSID, factory reset is the only option available currently. So setup just like first time you did after a reset.

Looks like it is a hardware issue, which we will address by replacement.

@conrad your device is ok, just reconnect after reset. Do not rediscover and try to setup if you changed the SSID.
