Just received the RS90, firmware update and Android App updated. When I try to create a “Room” in the App using French langage (I’m French so…) : I set the name, let 3x2, no change on wallpaper and select the RS90. When I click on “Save” : sometimes the App close and Android say that there is a bug with the App and sometimes it return the home menu of the App but no room is created.
I tried many times to uninstall, reinstall the App, Factory reset, etc… always same result. And I decided to change the App language to English and it works the first time.
Is the room not showing up for you in the Haptique Config App after saving? Or is it that you don’t see the room on the RS90?
On the RS90, make sure to tap the circular icon with the two arrows in the top right corner — that triggers a refresh so the RS90 updates to match the latest data from the Haptique Config App.
Hi Fonzo,
The room is not saved on the App (and sometimes the App crashed on save). I f you change the App language to English it works fine on Saving. Then I just change the language to French and the room still here in the App (and well syncrhonized to the RS90.
Same kind of problems here…(french)
Restarting the remote did help to have the first room saved, then other rooms could be created.
Some devices could be recognized, but do not work after being saved.
Url’s commands are working great.
No widgets available.
I personally have never had the app set to French, so I had never noticed this behavior — that rooms are not saved depending on the selected language. If this is indeed a bug in the app, then only the manufacturer Cantata can fix it. Therefore, it would be advisable, in addition to this post, to report this issue directly to Cantata’s support team via email and then wait for a direct response from their support.
