I just got my IR+RF Hub and when I try to link my IR devices, I get a Fail! Indication. This happens for all devices I try to link. Any idea how to fix this?
So it looks like the configuring is a one-time event. When I click “Already Configured? Add Device”, and select the Extender and press “Reconfigured Device”, I get an error “pin_not_configured”.
I have the same problem. After several attempts, I suddenly have my hub in the list twice. I have no idea how that works. Do you use Home Assistant?
No, no Home Assistant. Just the R90 remote and the IR Hub.
I am Facing this issue as well. Looks like it is from the server. It shows it failed to register a new device. But in reality the Hub works. I tried to delete many time and re-added, every time getting this message. But the Hub in my case is working just well.
We will fix this first thing in the morning tomorrow.
I was able to get it working, and I can program IR codes from my device remotes, but when I send the commands from the hub, nothing responds. I also sync my devices to the R90 remote and try controlling my devices with that, and still nothing. Someone suggested adjusting the IR repetition rate, but 38000 seems to be the standard frequency. I’m getting super frustrated that this system isn’t working properly. Please help!
Have you link your IR device via to Hub. If yes please share a screen shot. If not, visit Extender settings and link the IR device you want to send via Hub/Extender and sync the Haptique.
Yes, I’ve linked 3 devices. What happens is when I add an IR device and use the hub to read the OEM remote signals, it registers the signal but when I test the signal through the Haptique app, the device doesn’t respond. I then sync the devices to my RS90 and they don’t respond to that either.
