We received demo units of the Kincony IR hub and tested them using the stock firmware. Controlled a Panasonic TV via HTTP from the RS90 1GB model, and it worked well.
This looks like a reliable and low-cost option for IR learning and extension with RS90.
Next week, we’ll be flashing our IR extender firmware onto the units to test performance. If everything checks out, this custom IR hub will be available on our website later this month.
How is this going? What about those of us that paid more for the X version of the remote as well as prepaid for your IR and RF extender and ended up getting the non X and no IP or RF extender without any compensation for the getting a “lesser” model? Will we receive one of these in place of your extenders and if so do we get a refund of at least one of them?
Of course the extenders will be shipped as part of the rewards. Even 90x will eventually come. You did switch for a reason and that is delay.
With that being said, how is this going? Will you have your extender firmware available for it as well as adding these to the site soon? I really have a lot of issues with the built in IR not being strong enough to go through the glass front of my cabinet. It sort of works with the door open but even then it is not very reliable.
Firmware is almost complete so once our App team created the integration with Haptique. We will send the firmware to Kinkony and also purchase few hundreds of these hubs and list them on our website. Even users can purchase directly or make use of the units they have(if any) as we will also publish the firmware to flash locally.
Sounds good, Are you useing the KC868-AG or the KinCony AG Pro or are both going to be supported? I ask because the pro would be nice if I can use it will HA and Tuya directly as well as the Haptique at the same time via the Pro version.
Currently we have the AG, pro is little pricey so we decided to build firmware for lower cost. Glad to hear from you.
Do I understand correctly, I can install your software on my harmony hub and use it? If so, how complicated is the flash? I have no idea how to do that 
The firmware is for KC868-AG not the Harmony Hub.
What about Global Cache? Any plans to support their devices while we wait for the Haptique extenders?
Yes we have had a look at their API we just need to place it on the busy roadmap somewhere.

Hi, as the weak IR Transmitter is my only issue I would like to start immediately when possible.
So next step for me is to buy a Kinkony AG / K 868 right? Or will haptique offer it in the shop? What I would prefer because as I see it’s only available via Aliexpress…
Then I need to flash your firmware and connect it to the remote, right? If you have a detailed step by step manual, I appreciate.
